Client Visit Today Creating a Moodboard

Today I visited a lovely farmhouse in Northumberland to help a client who had taken it over from her mother in law, some of the rooms had not been updated since the 1970’s I was almost fascinated and tempted to peel of wallpaper to keep and treasure.  Anyway onwards and upwards and definitely time for her own stamp on the place.  She asked me to come up with a nice country scheme that was neither too traditional or contemporary, cosy, practical and styling to have both a masculine and feminine balance.  I suggested the following scheme combining my fabrics with ANTA’s beautiful wools:  I’m really enjoying combining my fabrics with my suppliers (www.kb-interiors.co.uk) and coming up with totally unique schemes.  I will be working on this over the week ahead and planning various alternatives.
