HOW TO MEASURE AND QUANTIFY WALLPAPER REQUIREMENTS:
- All wallpapers are 52cm wide by 10m per roll. Each wallpaper has a pattern repeat listed on the website.
- Work out the number of 52cm drops you need across the width of your wall.
- For example, if your wall is 2m wide (200cm) you will need 4 drops. (ie. 4 x 52cm = 2.08m)
- Then work out your drop, say its 2.3m. You then need to add the pattern repeat, say it’s 10cm, you would then have 2.4m. Therefore you would work out 4 drops of 2.4 = 9.6m. Each roll is 10m so this would require 1 roll.
- Please always allow for contingency, mistakes or marks as well as cutting round switches or sockets etc. You may also want to have extra for the future in case of accidents.
- If in any doubt, measuring and specifying quantities should be carried out by a qualified decorator.
- The rolls are printed specifically for your order as a batch, therefore please ensure you order enough to cover your walls and leave some contingency. Avoid needing to order extra rolls as batches may vary. If you do need to order extra, please alert us via email sales@peonyandsage.com with your previous order number and we will advise. Unused rolls are non returnable as we cannot re sell these to customers in case of batch inconsistency or damage.
INSTALLATION:
- Wallpaper should be installed by a qualified decorator. Handling and hanging wallpaper is a skilled job.
- The walls should be clean, firm and dry, properly prepared and cross lining paper should be applied.
- A high quality “Paste the Wall” ready mix wallpaper adhesive should be used.
- Avoid getting adhesive on the printed surface.
- Cut required lengths allowing for pattern matching and apply the first length using a plumb line. Apply adhesive evenly with a roller.
