To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, in writing, including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address.  If your goods have been printed or cut or despatched it may be too late to cancel your order.

Return postage will be the responsibility of the customer.

Bespoke, cut, washed or used lengths of fabric or trims are non-returnable.  It is vital you inspect the goods before using or cutting them, as should there be an issue it may invalidate any claim for a refund. We inspect all our goods before despatch but damage can also be caused in transit.  Please do not sign for any damaged goods or packaging.  Our fabrics, wallpapers, curtain poles and handmade items are all made bespoke to order, so unless faulty we cannot accept returns.  Please be sure to read the full item description before making your purchase.

Our wallpaper is printed to order and can take between 14 and 21 days.  Please note if you over order on quantity full rolls cannot be returned.  If you are unsure of quantities, please check with a qualified decorator.  Please do not order less than you need as batches can vary and we cannot be responsible for any discrepancy against your previous order.

Due to the nature of linen there are the odd imperfections.  We have a company standard tolerance of up to 5 faults per 50m roll.  We do our best to work around these flaws and if we feel they are unacceptable we will contact our customers with the option to give us measured drops and do our best to facilitate large orders.  If this is not possible you have the opportunity to cancel the order. Our tumbled linens are washed and then tumbled with stones, a brutal process that results in the beautiful drape, finish and soft handle, however due to this process there is an increased chance of damage to the linen which can result in the smallest hole or frayed selvedge.  We will do our best to work around these imperfections but a bit of tolerance is required when purchasing linen.

Return Exceptions:

Fabric that has been cut, used, altered or made into an item will not be acceptable for returns or exchange even if there was a genuine fault in the product.  If fabric is despatched to a third party/maker, it is the buyer or their agent’s responsibility to check that the correct colour/design has been received before cutting or altering in any way.   Mistakes in labelling, though rare, can happen.  We do not offer refunds for delayed goods, please contact us with immediate effect if your product has not arrived in a timely manner and if there is an issue we will arrange an express delivery for the same week. Please allow up to 14 days for all orders, although many of our orders are next day, including samples, trims and shorter quantities of fabrics.

Disclaimers:

Please always order a swatch before ordering fabric or wallpaper as every monitor varies for colour and we cannot exchange or refund goods where the colour was not as what was expected on screen.  Our colour descriptions are references to the palette and look of the fabric or wallpaper and are not intended to be explicit definitions of tone.  Samples are sent out for next day delivery on the date of purchase.  If you fail to receive them for any reason, please do contact us within 7 days of purchase and we can resend these if necessary.  Unfortunately we do not refund sample requests, nor do we deduct the cost of these from any future purchase.  In the event of a sample being out of stock we will forward as soon as we re-stock.

The colour of our fabrics may vary slightly from batch to batch.  As we print to order unless your item required is in stock we cannot do batch sampling. Please check prior to see if this is possible.   Although we strive to achieve perfection, the nature and beauty of linen is due to its uneveness and this can result in very slight imperfections.  On printed backgrounds the chances are higher of the odd printing dot, again we would hope for this not to happen but please be aware of this.  We have stated this on any background printed fabric listing.

All of our linens are woven by the very best mill, the linens are checked for quality, colour and construction.   We aim to have square warp and weft constructions but this is not always possible in linen due the the irregular yarns the various processes the linens are put through and re rolled at differing tensions.  We have to have a tolerance for this and our acceptability is up to 3.8cm.  As long as the print is straight, we would advise to cut to print rather than construction.

Selvedge marking. Whilst printing if the tension within the fabric is not identical on both sides of the selvedge this can cause the print headers to catch. We aim to avoid this and it is usually right on the edge, it is just ink. Most are happy to lose this in their turnings.  If there is not a possibility to do this we would collect your order and re print it for you, but on larger runs there is a small likelihood of this occurring.

Our linens can fade – fabric will fade if it’s been left in the sunlight it will also fade if the fabric is repeatedly dry cleaned.

Prices in Euros, US dollars and Australian dollars are provided as a guide to prices in these territories.  Ultimately the price of purchases will be in £ sterling and this will be converted individually by the payment type used or your bank.  This will be clearly stated at the checkout stage.

Fabric Cleaning Instructions:

We recommend dry-cleaning only.

Characteristics of Linen fabric:

Linen is an entirely natural product.  Within the yarn it is likely you will get “slubs” or small knots that occur randomly along its length.  The print can take differently to different batches of basecloth making slight colour variations with batches.  This is inherent in purchasing a linen product, it will have imperfections.  You should expect little marks and knots within fabric you purchase from us and possibly the odd printing dot.  We try to offer the very best in our linens and printing but we do have to work around an entirely natural product (unlike a uniform cotton panama or polyester which would offer very few problems in consistency). Please take this into consideration when purchasing our products.  It is important to order a sample prior to purchasing for colour checking and look and feel of the physical linen.
